Shattuckite Slabs.
Here we have beautiful, 4-6mm thick, slabs of Shattuckite from the New Cornelia Mine in Ajo, Arizona. This mineral was mined in the mid 1950's and is a rarity today as there was never a lot that did not get smelted down for copper. What was kept for the lapidary trade was very little which has been already been cut up. It is very stable cabbing material.
